RESOURCES FOR STUDENTS TRANSFERRING COLLEGES
Looking to move to a new school that better fits your needs? Hoping to complete your education from a previously unfinished degree? Bryant & Stratton College is here to help. Bryant & Stratton College accepts transfer credits from other colleges and offers students the opportunity to take examinations to validate their competency of selected courses and subject areas through Prior Learning Assessment (PLA). Students may also earn college credit for achieved scores of 70% or better on the College’s internal credit by examination (proficiency examination). The College will also grant college credit for applicable passing grades on specific third party, external examinations, Prior Learning Assessment Portfolios, ACE credits and Continuing Education/Certifications.
Transfer credit evaluations are free! When students provide their transcript, they will receive a preliminary transfer credit evaluation. This will be used to identify first semester courses. The official transcript will be required to complete the final evaluation of transfer credits and to award credits. This includes military transcripts and related documentation.
Students are advised to submit official transcripts along with other admissions materials as they progress through the admissions process at Bryant & Stratton College. Students may earn no more than 75% (70% in Virginia) of credits required for a specific degree program through the transfer of high school course content and concurrent enrollment, proficiency evaluation, college transfer credits, AP credits, and/or credits awarded by the American Council on Education (ACE), unless the student is registered as part of a SOC agreement.
